    This unique pet friendly one-story two bedroom, 2 bath cottage (villa) offers approximately 1,500 square feet of living space and a shaded porch.

    Fine leather furniture including a sofa, love seat and oversized lounge chair with footstool adorn the spacious living room, dining room and well-provisioned kitchen that has granite countertops, breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances including a large refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, and dishwasher.
    Separate dining area for 6 and also a breakfast table in the kitchen. The laundry area a full-sized washer and dryer. The villa has a unique enclosed 3rd bonus room that comes with a sofa bed, a climate-controlled sitting area with flat screen television that can accommodate 2 additional overnight guests. We also have a pack-and-play for our younger guests.

    In addition to the main living area, there are 2 bedrooms and a bonus room. The master bedroom has a large bathtub and a separate shower with a 2 person vanity. Opposite the main living room is a second bedroom with an attached full bathroom and walk-in closet. The villa has 10 ft. ceilings throughout with ceiling fans in all living areas including 2 fans on the front porch.

    The Master has a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable.

    2nd Bedroom has a Queen bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable and a walk-in closet.

    The Bonus Room includes a sleeper sofa, flat-screen TV and sitting area.
    The living room has a full-sized leather sofa, a love seat and an oversized lounge chair with a footstool. A built-in flat-screen TV with cable that swivels, a DVD Player and High-Speed Wireless Internet

Loved our stay!!

This property had everything you need for a great beach trip with a gas grill for cooking outside!!! The place was decorated so cute and unique items that set it apart from the rest. There were 6 of us and we fit nicely. We will diffently book it again. 10/10 recommend.

The new golf cart was a welcome change from last year! Some work needs to be done such as painting the outside and closing up the thresh-hold of the exterior door leading out to the grill area/deck. The security and maintenance personnel were friendly and helpful if needed.

It's a well maintained, quiet place for a relaxing stay. There are rules here, but they're in place for the benefit of relaxation and convenience. The cottage as a nice cottage that was clean. Both pools are nice areas and the beach is clean. The security aspect is nice to have on site. Office people are very nice and accommodating. Plan to stay again at this resort

We looked for some time before we landed on the Martinique on the Gulf and chose Lumiere du Soleil. When first arriving, we were quite impressed with the beautiful landscape, security upon entry (Mark, great guy) and the overall appearance of Lumiere. Lumiere had a welcoming feel, with an inviting color pallet, cleanliness and fantastic location. The cherry on top was the use of the golf cart, great bonus. The whole neighborhood was beautiful with 2 excellent pools, fitness area, sauna and easy access to the beach. Everyone one in my family were extremely happy with our stay. I was very happy to see the security measures in place and enforced. Now the big question... would we stay here again? This is an overwhelming YES!! Some may feel it is far from downtown Gulf Shores but really it is only about 12-15 minutes, no big deal. There is a Dollar General 2 minutes down the road for extra stuff. One more mention, we traveled with our 2 little dogs, the pet area was directly in front of the condo, this was fantastic. Ahhh sad our stay is over, but we will return to Martinique on the Gulf.

The customer service was amazing! Michelle in the office was always friendly and helpful as I made the reservation, and quick to take care of our needs when I called for a maintenance issue. Jason and Ken were also quick to check out a problem with our golf cart. The pictures were spot on for the cottage, and the grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We enjoyed the pools and the tennis courts as well as the beach. We definitely hope to return next year.
