This was a last minute booking for me, and I'm grateful to have found a place. The property was adequate for my family of 5, but there are some things that I wish were improved. First, I used to live in Greenville, so I'm familiar with the area. I knew the area when I booked. Please understand that this part of Greenville is not going to be the super-gentrified Greenville you see in Southern Living. Despite this, I found the property to be conveniently located to Cherrydale Shopping, which includes fast food, sit-down restaurants, and a grocery store. You are a short drive from downtown, so all in all, it's an OK location. The property itself is definitely an older property, and showing it's age. Despite this, the place was reasonably clean. The kitchen was fine: stove, dishwasher, and a large refrigerator. One problem we had was a lack of a dining room. The kitchen itself has a high top which can seat two. Other than this, you have to eat in on the couch in the living room. So, this would be fine for small families or adults. But, for small children, this was a minor struggle. Secondly, one of the bedrooms is oddly located right in the middle of the house, with access doors on two sides. The blinds did little to block light, so this bedroom was not ideal for sleeping. The biggest issue we had was with hot water. I'm not sure if the hot water heater is turned down really far, or if it's just undersized. But, there was only enough hot water for a single shower.
