'De overnachting was goed. Eerste avond vreselijk slecht ges;apen door een hoop lawaai, veel dronken mensen die voor ons open raam langs liepen. Dit hebben wij gemeld bij het personeel, we kregen daarna gelijk een kamer aand de achterkant van het hotel en geslapen als roosjes.'

'The accommodation is “Airb&b style”, so no service on site. However when I had a problem with access I got immediate attention on the phone. The room was reasonably clean, bedlinen and towels spotless. Shower, hot water etc. working fine, shower gel supplied, kettle available with plenty of tea and coffee. A wee bit shabby outside of the room but I gather they are still working on it. Cleaner/maid friendly. Value for money and I suspect but don’t know for sure that it will improve...

'Our hostess was engaging and kind, giving helpful ideas for where to eat and what to do during our short stay. Very family-friendly property with bright and colorful decor. ' Very clean & felt like a safe part of town. Close enough to main bus station, which was a must for our group (79-yo dad). Front office staff was AMAZING - Dee was so nice and welcoming and even called our airline to try to help when it lost our golf clubs! When back in Glasgow, I can’t see why we wouldn’t stay at Spires again. '
