B&B in Great River Road

'The staff was kind and helpful. The facilities were very clean but could use some updating. We were told that we couldn't use the fireplace because they were turned off and that was part of why I liked the room.'

'This a beautiful spot, conveniently located near Walker. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms and common area are cozy and beautifully decorated. Gary was a wonderful host.'

'Great historic B&B. Highly recommended!'

'Delicious breakfast, charming property. Much more fun than a sterile hotel. Thank you!'

'Peaceful and quiet easy to find. Great views of Mississippi.. Lovely pool and lots of outdoor spaces to relax. Good room slept well nice compact bathroom. Didnt meet host. Average breakfast at Monmouth.which is a lovely stately home. Dont have the french toast basically fried bread with what didnt look like cream cheese in between and dusted with powdered sugar no fruit as you would usually have - wasnt good!'

'Staying at the Alexander Mansion was like stepping back in time to a unique era in Winona history. Our host is very knowledgeable, welcoming and gracious. We were very impressed by all the attention to detail, the delicious breakfast, the lovely rooms and all the special touches that made this an amazing and memorable visit. Thank you so much.'

'Overall, we had a great stay. Beautiful home with wonderful views. The breakfast was okay.'

'we found the house beautiful to look around in we did not sleep in the house itself but in the building next door those rooms also fit in with the place where you spend the night. It’s a very nice location als for weddings.'

'The property is in a good location, just a block or two from the bottom of the incline. We had a wonderful stay. Robert, the owner, made us feel especially welcome, and his breakfast was delicious. If you’re looking for a memorable experience with more personality than a standard hotel, this is it. A glass of wine on arrival would have been a lovely finishing touch!'
