Master Bed and Bathroom Suite that is a 10 minute walk to the center of Historic Downtown Nevada City. Private separate entrance and off street parking. Secluded deck overlooking a wooded setting and seasonal creek. Amenities include- refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, television and Wi- Fi. Queen size bed. The house was originally built in 1898 and was completely remodeled about 20 years ago. This bedroom and bathroom suite is in the back of our house. You walk down 15 steps and through a gate on the side of the house and then up 5 more steps to get to the deck in front of the room. Highway 49 is not too far behind our house so you will hear highway noise. It gets very quiet at night. To the left of the deck we have a bird aviary. The room has its own separate heater, air conditioner and fan that you control with a remote control. It’s a mini split system that hangs on the wall….installed new in August 2024.
We do not have traditional cable tv/internet. We have a Starlink dish that provides you with high speed WiFi. The 32-inch TV in the room is equipped with a Roku streaming stick. Enjoy free channels via The Roku Channel, plus log in to your own subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube TV, etc.) for your favorite shows and movies. Just use the Roku remote to navigate. We’ve enabled Guest Mode for easy, secure sign-ins with automatic logout at the end of your stay.” Our driveway has a downward slope to it. The majority of our guests have no trouble navigating up and down it but if you have a large vehicle you need to be comfortable about backing up the sloping driveway because there may not be enough room to turn around before you go up the driveway. It is an option to park up on the street.
Please no early check in or late check out. Proper cleaning between guests takes time😀. No refunds for weather.it does snow here approximately 2-4 weeks per year.
