The Chalet was absolutely amazing! We stayed for three nights and couldn’t have been happier. It had everything we needed and was fully stocked with all the essentials, aside from our own personal items. The owner was very responsive, when we had a question upon arrival, he answered within five minutes. The location was perfect: quiet, peaceful, and very close to the ocean, exactly as shown in the listing. It’s also convenient for day trips, with most places in New Brunswick within about an hour’s drive. We were extremely pleased with our stay and had an amazing time. The owner’s hospitality made it even better. We highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway!

The location is amazing, in a very quiet neighbourhood, very close to a really nice beach. The house in itself could have been cleaner and it’s missing a few things like hangers, pans, a coffee machine, some chairs and side tables in the bedrooms but over than that, the house is as described. We had an amazing times nonetheless and would come back in a heartbeat. The host was responsive and we didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Un bel endroit!

Nous avons adorĂ© notre expĂ©rience Ă  cet hĂ©bergement. L’endroit est propre et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. Le secteur est paisible et prĂšs de beaucoup de choses (ShĂ©diac, Bouctouche et Moncton Ă  environ 20-30 minutes de route). Il y a Ă©galement de belles plages Ă  Grande-Digue directement. Si nous revenons dans le coin, nous regarderons pour louer Ă  nouveau.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was so cosy and well kept. The kitchen was fully equipped for what we needed. It was so great having a fire pit outside, and being just steps away from ocean. The beds were very comfortable. The living room was welcoming and the couches comfortable. The only thing was the bbq propane tank was empty, and it could use some blackout curtains. We would absolutely stay here again!

A great base location for travel to NB sights and PEI. Provides a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Just a couple blocks to coastline tho no view from house. If you need railing to go up stairs, be aware that the railing switches sides at wide landing and has no railing at corner. Recently renovated with comfortable furniture.

Nous avons manquĂ© d’eau l’avant-derniĂšre journĂ©e de location. Le puit Ă©tait Ă  sec. Le propriĂ©taire nous a fait livrer des bidons d’eau. Mais nous avons du partir une journĂ©e avant la fin du sĂ©jour. Le propriĂ©taire nous a remboursĂ© la nuit plus 10%(18$) de la journĂ©e (mais sans ajouter les taxes. C’est pas un gros dĂ©dommagement, compte tenu que nous avons Ă©courtĂ© nos vacances et dĂ» trouver un hĂŽtel pour la nuit manquĂ©e.

Nous sommes restĂ© 7 jours au chalet (4 adultes). Il est bien situĂ©, environ Ă  une vingtaine de minutes de plusieurs endroits. Petite plage disponible prĂšs du chalet (que quelques minutes de marche). Un grand terrain pour faire des activitĂ©s extĂ©rieurs si dĂ©sirĂ©. Endroit trĂšs calme et paisible. Il y a deux salles de bain et une salle d’eau, trĂšs avantageux quand on est plusieurs. La communication avec le propriĂ©taire etait rapide et efficace. Par contre, l’endroit avait Ă©tĂ© nettoyĂ© seulement en surface. La propretĂ© laissait Ă  dĂ©sirer (toiles d’araignĂ©es Ă  plusieurs endroits, salles de bain peu lavĂ©es, bbq sale, ustensiles mal lavĂ©s, etc.).

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© les lieux, la propretĂ© du chalet, l'accĂšs Ă  la plage, le terrain. Par contre, il manquerait de chaises. Ayant un bĂ©bĂ©, j'aurais apprĂ©ciĂ© une petite chaise berçante Ă  l'Ă©tage, dans la chambre principale, et peut-ĂȘtre un meuble de plus pour les valises, le changement de couches... La thermopompe Ă©tait trĂšs sale et puait Ă©galement, alors nous ne l'avons pas utilisĂ©e, heureusement qu'il y avait des ventilateurs dans toutes les chambres! Également, nous pensions qu'il y avait un spa, tel que vu dans la description (bain Ă  remous), mais il n'y en avait pas. Merci pour l'hĂ©vergement, nous avons vĂ©cu de beaux moments et crĂ©Ă© de beaux souvenirs!

Grande-Digue calm and vistas

Excellent stay. Well maintained neighborhood and quiet. The house has most of the things you need. It’s clean and comfortable and it easily accomodated the 5 of us. Short walk to a small beach with beautiful sunsets and 20-30 min car ride to Bouctouche and Shediac. I would definitely go back. Thank you!

Chalet De Grand-Digue

The house is more than adequate. It is in a very quiet lovely area outside of Shediac. This, I didn’t understand when booking, but my fault for not paying more attention to the location. If you’re looking for quiet and out of the way, this is it. The kitchen in the house is very well set up and the sofa and chair in living room very comfortable. Would have been nice to have a station on the TV broadcasting the Stanley Cup, but no big deal. The bathrooms are renovated and very nice. The bedrooms need some cozy touches. The beds are quite hard and no proper mattress covers making them kinda noisy and uncomfortable. They weren’t made up with blankets and we had to find them in the closets. Bedside tables by all the beds would be nice, only one room had one. The rooms all did have fans in them which was great as the weather turned very warm, hot in fact! Overall, if the bedrooms had those improvements, it would be a very nice place to stay

This cottage is beautiful. Very clean and bright. The kitchen & bathrooms were adequately stocked. The beds very comfortable. The location to amenities and the short walk to the ocean was perfect. The host is easy to reach & communicate with and could not have been more accommodating!! I would recommend this stay with confidence. Thank you, Emmanuel, for your kindness.
