Grand Luxury Mountaintop Lodge, Amazing Views,16+,Hike,Bike, Ski, Boat, ATV

This spectacular, one-of-a-kind log house was built by us in 2003. The 18' Engleman Spruce logs are from Southern Utah and were designed and built specially for our home -- truly a work of art! Sitting on 17.5 acres, high upon a ridge, the views are nothing less than amazing, including the Continental Divide. Perfectly secluded while still be 15 minutes away from Granby Ski Ranch, Grand Elk Golf Club, and the town of Granby. Hot Sulphur Springs, and Grand Lake, are also just 25 minutes away.

Each room in the house has been carefully designed and decorated featuring high-end furnishings and comfort at every turn. An individual theme has been given to each of the five master suites, including the Luxury Master Suite, the Bear Room, the Moose Room, the Fish Room, and the Cowboy Room. All bedroom mattresses were replaced as of May, 2023, and are gloriously comfortable. If you are a movie or game buff, check out our movie/game room with the projector TV and 11-foot movie screen with surround sound for a movie theater experience.

This home is family friendly: there are 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 4 washers and dryers, and 2 fireplaces.

New carpets were installed throughout the home in June, 2024.

We are a NON-SMOKING, NO ANIMAL home. The owner's children, as well as some of our guests, have severe reactions to these allergens, and in order to safeguard their health and well-being, these requirements are non-negotiable.

All four seasons are enjoyed and appreciated in this home. It is a great gathering place, whether for relaxation, fun, beauty, nature or to create memories of a lifetime. Our favorites are tubing down our road in the winter and building a fire to roast s'mores in the summer!

This house was perfect for our reunion. Plenty of room for the 11 of us. The views are beautiful. Kitchen has plenty of room for multiple people to cook and prepare food and is well supplied Great to have 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens. The log construction is beautiful and makes the house very quiet so those that turn in early aren't bothered by noise of those staying up late. It was so nice to have a bathroom for each couple. The house is clean. Beds very comfy. Linens and towels are good quality. Be careful on the deck as some of the screws are beginning to pop up presenting a bit of a trip hazard This was not a problem for us. Was a great place to escape the heat, most of us came from very hot areas. We pretty much just stayed at the house the whole time, didn't feel the need to sight see just enjoyed each other's company and play cards and games, we even had a fox walk right thru our very exciting cornhole tournament! So glad we choose this house. I'm sure we will return. Can't wait!

Couldn’t be Better

Sometimes when you look at a property, the pictures are better than the actual property. In this case, the property is better than the pictures. This is an amazing find and was perfect for 12 guys on a golf trip. The house has four master bedrooms, basically all with their own bathrooms. The huge dining room table was perfect. I cannot say enough about how nice this place is. From the unbelievable view to the all around amenities this place has it all.

This home is stunning. The furnishings are comfortable and so much room. The major bonus for this property is the views. They are spectacular. There isn't a bad view from anywhere in the home. Fully stocked kitchen, perfect.Plenty of play space for kids. Very fun. Take a walk down the drive and you find more amazing views, flowers and wildlife. Highly recommend.

Lovely Mountian Getaway

Our group of friends had a lovely stay at the Mountain Top Lodge. They have really set this place up for groups to be comfortable with comfortably appointed bedrooms, a great kitchen, and fun common areas. This was particularly great for our kids as they had a fun bunk room to share and a play area outside to run around. The view during sunset was breathtaking. Thanks for hosting us!

Perfect for family or group stays!

We had a phenomenal stay! The house was well stocked, had plenty of room to spread out, and stunning views. It could use a second fridge and some updated bed pillows, but overall, was very clean and luxurious. The driveway is steep so be prepared. Once up it, the property is quiet and stunning. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting! Overall we were very happy with our stay, but we did have issues finding appropriate bedding for the crib; also found rodent droppings on one of the kid's mattresses while we were visiting RMNP, so we had to wash the sheets -- you may have a hidden guest in there! Ran out of hand soap in powder room on main floor; & the sofa beds may not have been comfortable sleeping options for adult guests. But we loved the playground for the kids -- they were out there every chance they got! Nila was very helpful as well... thank you!!

Awesome accommodations, beautiful location - our family of 11 adults and 4 kids had plenty of our own space and large gathering spaces as well!! Kids had a blast on play structure while adults enjoyed the horse shoe pit! Fire pit was a nice way to close out the day! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Awesome Cabin

This cabin was awesome! Four families stayed in the cabin, and it had four king bedrooms with attached bathrooms plus plenty of room for the kids. The views are great, and we saw antelope on the property every day. It's located about 25 minutes from the RMNP entrance. It's a 10/10!

What can I say..the view from the deck is beautiful! We had 4 families staying here and having 5 bedrooms and a bathroom and washer dryer for each sleeping area was great! Lovely stay!

The description is a little hard to understand the sleeping spaces and some of the bed space/sleeping areas are really children sized. There are places in the listing that say this but the listing and the description from the host and the youtube video tour don't really clarify or match each other so we were confused on what to expect. Don't think it will sleep up to 20 adults because some of the spaces were very small. There were 14 of us (all adult sized) staying this trip though, and there was space enough for all of us. The lodge had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to gather and visit. We were there for my niece's wedding so spent very little time in the lodge itself. The drive there is spectacular. The water smelled of sulfur but the owner reassured us the water had been recently tested and was safe for drinking. In addition, they had a double filter at the sink in the kitchen for drinking water. The smell is off-putting but not uncommon in the area. Once you take a shower, the smell did not linger on us so no worries there. The host and the owner were very responsive and the check in, stay and check out went well, without any issues. It was a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed our time there.
