'We had 5 wonderful days at this beautiful cottage. The house was clean and well stocked. We had plenty of room at the table to share meals with our family. The water was clear and swimming was a great relief in 90 degree weather. We kayaked and used the pontoon boat. Loons greeted us in the bay every morning and evening. We hated to leave this heavenly gem. Thank you Sarah for sharing this lovely cottage with us. We couldn't have asked for a better time!'

'Location is within a short walk to the village which allowed us to explore, revist and connect with our new favorite businesses; however, the property was literally encased by boats. Boats in the front yard concelled the cottage, Boats on either side of the property were parked in the drveways which caused confusion, and jostling for parking on property. Inside was welcoming and clean which provided an nice retreat for a long weekend stay.'

'The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet....

'This was an outstanding property, and the owners were wonderful. Was well worth the price and would highly recommend it for any adult fishing vacation. The scenery was beautiful, and the home was super clean and comfortable. Never caught so many fish on any trip before.'

'Screened in porch takes you to the river edge and watching the big ships on the St. Lawrence was a new experience. (There's even an app to track them.) Open floor plan with lots of room. Country cozy with the comforts of home. Hope to return and stay longer next time. Charming host!'

Plus, the short walk to Alexandria Bay makes it a perfect location for enjoying all that the area has to offer. The available kayaks and yard games added to the fun!
