« This historic hotel has loads of character and is a marvellous central location. I would suggest that it needs some decorative TLC but my room was large and with 2 huge floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the main street. Room and ensuite were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I met some of the hospitality staff and they were welcoming and cheerful. I would definitely return. »

Puis nous avons demandé pour un entretien avec notre visiteur, au calme car il y avait un match de foot dans le grand salon et beaucoup de bruit, sollicitant de nous mettre dans un salon annexe, réponse: “no that’s not possible”. « We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. « Lovely, clean room (Muckle). Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a few little niggles, such as the tv remote had no cover over the batteries and didn’t work properly as a result. No coffee machine or mini fridge, both pretty standard these days, even in much less expensive rooms. The decor, both room and hotel generally, is really nicely done, and overall, we had a lovely stay. No better recommendation than to say we would definitely stay there again. »
