« Upon arriving I initially gave the space a 5 star rating - it’s adorable! After 3 days stay I need to adjust that downwards unfortunately… There was no hot water in the shower and the mini fridge wasn’t cold. After using the iPad provided for questions/complaints I found a number to call for maintenance but it was late and I simply showered at my daughter’s flat the next day. There was simply no water coming out of the hot water spigot in the shower although the sink worked perfectly. I got a...

« This is a superb place to stay! Very clean and walking distance to all activities in Amsterdam. Short Uber drive from the airport and to the museums…. I can not say enough about how accommodating Evert was with our stay. He is so very nice and even helped us with our luggage. The bed was so comfortable with luxury linens. Plenty of coffee, tea, beer, and wine. »

« The room is situated in a very nice house on one of the amsterdam bridges. From architectural point of view is fantastic. However if you have a large suitcase forget to bring it to the room as you have a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. Concerning noise, you will have the live with the tram crossing the bridge ... that is quite loud and you will have light very early as the blinds are not blocking the sun. For us all those points were some how acceptable as the place is lovely....

« Everything was great. Thank you so much for hosting my friend :) »

« Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam. Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk. I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. I thought that the hotel would have had a bit of sympathy for my situation. But no, they refused to move the date. This room could easily have been...
