'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'Everything was perfect! We came here for Mardi Gras and let me tell you Mardi Gras is at your door step with this hotel!! I had no idea until a few days before arriving but i would book again for that reason alone. We were greeted with wonderful staff they were all very nice and attentive and welcoming. Room was perfect for my friend and i. We walked to bourbon everyday it was a 10-15 minute walk and never felt unsafe at anytime we were there. Would highly recommend!! '

'Fantastic location. Very close to all of the excitement on Bourbon Street, but far enough away to be quiet. Quaint, historic details, not a cookie cutter chain. This hotel captures the vibe of the city. Our room was small, but spotless, and the hotel rings a nice courtyard with a private pool and resident cats 🙂'
