'Some linens and towels smelled sour. Kitchen baking pans rusty and stained. Only one burner on the stove would light. Toilet seats loose. Dining table chair wobbly. Pool very cold and could not use. Could not use the mirror in one bedroom as it was blocked by the TV. Blow dryer holder in bathroom completely unusable as it falls out of the wall due to not having wall anchors. For the price, not very well thought out for women travelers.'

On our first night there was an issue that was no fault to the property or hosts but Rick and Debbie went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. 'Casita Calma is in a quiet country near a reservoir and one of the best views of Santa Barbara. From the hill, we watched a rocket take off and we listened to nothing but the sound of frogs and owls at night. It's a well appointed casita with lovely lighting and extremely clean!'

'Last minute trip to Santa Barbara was a success when we found this gem for my party of 8 adults and 2 dogs! The house was immaculate! So thoughtfully decorated and stocked! Each room had a comfortable bed and soft linen! The host was so responsive, when we needed a replacement gas tank for grill, it was replaced in 30 minutes!!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything including spices, so cooking there was easy! The outdoor space was nice for relaxing. 10 minute walk to a dog friendly beach...
