Blokhutten in Gold Hill

'We hadn’t realized there wasn’t a TV, but the historical feel and amazing wildlife were better than TV. I’ve never seen so much wildlife in one area. Also their dog was sooo cute and friendly.'

'Sheep and chickens were friendly. They set the vibe perfectly to slow down and just enjoy. We were able to make a decent dinner between the grill area and the surprisingly efficient kitchen. Best shower we encountered over our whole trip - 5 stops. Bed was very comfortable. The record player was a nice surprise. Luckily we had been collecting our own along the way of our trip but I highly recommend the Brothers Reed out of what is available in the cabin.'

'Had a great time view were great and tubs and hot were wellinjoy'

'We had a wonderful experience here. The hosts were responsive and helpful, the property was exactly what we were hoping for, and it served us well.I did a poor job planning our itinerary and reached out to the owners a couple of times to see if they could accommodate an added day and some other scheduling needs. They were very helpful in minimizing the impact of my sub-par planning. The house was comfy and clean, and we will be back again if our travels take us through Grant’s Pass another time.'

'Perfect location for our trip. Excellent communication'

'Perfect location for trip to Crater Lake National Park! Great communication also!!'

'Stayed only one night but the property would be great for multiple nights. The Smokey the bear theme around the cabin and interior decor is fun and makes the place feel homey. The loft bed is comfy and not too soft. The Murphy bed mattress is foamy and squishy which would work if soft bed is a preference. The out door porch from the kitchen was great spot for breakfast in a nice weather morning. The place is suited for 2 travelers (if one likes firmer bed and one likes squishy bed) or a couple....

'Beautiful property right on the river. The owner and family live on the property but lots of space that we barely saw another person. A definite plus that we could bring our dogs. Trails all around the property. The house was absolutely beautiful. Recently remodeled. Lots of wildlife on the property. Accessible river fishing on site. It was a nice quiet reset. Lots of great stargazing too.'
