'We found this a very comfortable place to stay in Kanazawa. The location was convenient, especially for the train station. We were able to walk everywhere. The unit was well-equipped and comfortable. We had a little bit of trouble figuring out the washer/dryer (never could figure out how to choose a wash temperature), but aside from that, we had no problems. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. '

'Beautiful view of the river, cherry blossoms, and a quiet neighborhood. A perfect way to truly enjoy the stunning beauty of Kanazawa. The staff were gracious, kind, and patient. They were accommodating and even called a taxi for us when we were leaving. '

'Rooms need better cleaning around the air vents, there was dust buildup, little dead bugs stuck to walls and ceilings. Large amount of dust stuck on the fire nozzle.. it takes zero time and effort to see and clean. Personnel was nice and location was close to the station and shops. Some noise from the trains can be heard but it’s not that big of a deal. Airconditioning is on a groep setting and was set to heating while it was pretty warm, they could not switch this off and offered a fan.. I...

'Good place to stay when there is no (affordable) accommodation available in Kanazawa. Kanazawa is easily accessible from the JR Matto station (2 minutes walk from the hotel). Other than that it's a hotel. Huge and not a very pretty building. But for us it's a place to sleep. The room van decent and clean. We stayed here with 2 adults and a baby. '

'This was our favorite hotel from our entire trip to Japan. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Yuki (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly). The rooms were beautiful, and to top it all off, the hotel offered delicious complimentary udon noodles every night. They even sent us off with sweets to take to our next destination, which was such a thoughtful touch. An excellent experience overall. We absolutely loved Kanazawa.'

'The room in the hyatt house hotel is super. It’s spacious, very clean and quiet enough (you can hear the trains though, but not that loud). We enjoyed the free drinks in the lobby. However, we didn’t enjoy breakfast. After many days of having a japanese style breakfast during our journey, we were looking forward to a western style breakfast, one of the reasons why we chose a western style hotel. We missed granola, fresh fruits, different types of cheese, fried or boiled eggs, the opportunity...
