'I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience about this stay. The property is located in an incredibly remote area with absolutely no stores or restaurants nearby. Be aware that the on-site pizza restaurant is closed several days a week, and when it is, you cannot even use the terrace. 'I thought a shukubo would be a very simple minimalist accommodation but it was a luxurious stay. A pleasant surprise.
Great staff and service, beautiful gardens, wonderful shojin meals, relaxing bath after our long hike, and a morning service in the main hall.
It was a perfect experience'

'Great experience! The staff is very helpful and international so no issues with language. The room had everything you need, including a comfy matrass to sleep on. Diner was vegan and very tasty. Afterwards we were invited to a meditation session and in the morning you can attend the morning ceremony. Breakfast is served and at 10 you can check out but leave your stuff to explore. A must stay if you are in Koyasan!'
