'The property was clean and well stocked and the owners were responsive and helpful. I was a bit disappointed by the location and the state of the furniture (well-used and in need of replacement.) It was not comfortable (mattresses included.) Overall a positive experience and we were appreciative of all the positives but I didn’t find it particularly comfortable. Maybe better for a family with young children. '

'The cabin was just as described. The owners contacted us ahead of time with arrival information and key codes. We had a lovely weekend stay! I also appreciate being able to bring our family dog! Would definitely recommend. '

'8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon.'

'We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!'

'We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here.
