'The cabin is nice and right by the water. Loved the river access. The only problem was the neighbors dog which was sweet and very friendly to kids and my dog which I paid 150 to bring. I also kept my dog crated when we went anywhere ( she weighs 6 pounds) but when we returned from town I stepped in a big pile of fresh dog crap! We also had to keep shoes on children because apparently dogs that live around there use the parking area and around the deck for a potty. I picked up after my dog but it...

'This place was great! Very comfortable in a very pretty location. Everything in the cabin was clean and fresh. We have stayed at many places where the linens were clean, but the pillows smelled funky. Not here - everything was truly clean. The location was great for going to GSMNP. 45-50 minutes to Newfound Gap. Ingles grocery is 15-20 minutes away. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the porch, listening to the creek as we had our coffee in the morning. Looking forward to coming back. '

Check in was easy, kitchen well stocked (bring your own coffee/keurig pods), house was very clean, nice updates, beautiful setting, quiet and lovely neighborhood.
