'The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see...

'We were looking for an affordable place to stay in the area. We were visiting relatives over Labour Day weekend. Although the bed in #224 was somewhat sqeeky ( and small in size), we slept ok. We were AMAZED that the hotel provided free coffee and ice. There is a microwave available and even a printer. The staff is efficient and friendly. In short : comfortable for a low-budget traveller. 'The ac in our room was not working. They came to reset it and then showed us how to do it again... clearly an ongoing problem. The door handle to the balcony is not even fully attached. The breakfast was okay. The waffle dispenser sucked. The pool was a good temp'

'Check in was weird. The lady had to have a guy come over, and he asked, “So you NEED two queen beds?” Yes, that’s why I booked it. Took five more minutes to get us checked in. They were nice, just seemed odd. Then we had to swap tv remotes three times due to them not working, or only volume down worked. No shower curtain, shower leaked water into the bathroom, and missing towels. Lastly, a weird stain 6”x9” on pillow. This room was not prepared. Won’t stay again.'

'Check in was friendly and fast. I would stay here again and again. After we checked out I realized that I left two sentimental bracelets on the nightstand and went into a full panic. We called the hotel and they immediately went to the room, found them and held them until I could pick them up.'

'Those cinnamon rolls are a wonderful way to start the mornings of a weekend getaway! Beyond that, staff kept everything replenished even though there was a full house. The gentleman that checked us in was so welcoming and polite. I reported a water issue in our room to him late the first night and the maintenance staff handled it first thing in the morning. Wow. Housekeeping staff was also quick with delivering fresh towels upon request. The pool area was nice, the hot tub was...

'Nice 24h gym, heated indoor pool, plenty of parking. I was there for a wedding nearby but there were 2 weddings happening at the hotel, and during that time it was a little loud and elevators were chaotic. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful. Very decent for the price, good option close to O'Hare.'
