Cottages in Girvan

'Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!'

'We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return! '

'The cottage is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. It's very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. It's in a good location, close to local amenities and the wonderful Kirroughtree Forest Park. We'll be back for our third stay next year. It's worth noting the best access road is up in front of the Kirroughtree House Hotel and not straight up through the Conifer Lodges past Auchendoon, as that particular road has large potholes that are difficult to navigate without bumping the underside of your...
