'The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. The Abbey has charm and pleasant seclusion at a very reasonable price. There is tea and coffee and a fridge and microwave. It can be cold in Winter but has a heater. More blankets would...

'Beslist geen suite. Selfservice ontbijt keuken op de gezamenlijke hal. Heel vreemd. Wel goed voorzien. De hal doet meer aan een verbouwde koeienstal herinneren. De plavonds zijn voorrzien van brandgevaarlijk riet. Zie het op foto's. Niet direct maar lang geen Suite. Gezamenlijke wasmachine zonder wasmiddel ook niet te verkrijgen. Echt raar. Ook 1,2 % creditcard toeslag. Vrij gehorig van geluid op de gezamenlijke gang. Reservering word 4 dagen van te voren afgezegd Moest direct bij hotel zelf...

'Good price and location. Staff were lovely with very easy check in and check out process. Room was basic but clean, comfortable bed and wasn't too noisy being above the pub with live music.'

'Room had balls of fluff all over the walls and beds, couldn't shower as it broke when turned on, laundry wasn't available to use as stated in booking it was. Staff was not well presented and rude. Was outside our room 30 minutes before checkout and stayed there till check out. Very disappointed. Won't let me attach photos.'

'Gorgeous place. We got there just in time for sunset and watched the surfers catch the last waves before it was too late! Very nicely kept place with fabulous owners. Washing machine too just outside the apartment!!'

'Everything was perfect and as described (if not better!). Lakefront apartment with the most stunning views. I wished we had more time to spend just sitting overlooking the water as it was so serene and peaceful. Easy check in, functional kitchen, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Wouldn’t definitely return!'

'This hotel is so outdated that it's just sad to see. Sharing the front door to the hotel room with the room next door and walls made of paper. You could hear everything from the room next door (tv and people talking). The pictures are nice but it was super disapointing to say the least. if it was cheaper it wouldn't be surprising to get something like this but it was just a poor stay overall. check in was easy and fast with a friendly girl.'
