Budgethotels in Gezira

'Great location, friendly staff, up-to-date and well-maintained property. No complaints. My favorite was the rainfall showerhead. Haha! Would stay there again.'

'The Longchamps is a comfortable, relatively small, European-style hotel in Zamalek, a lovely part of Cairo. It has charming common spaces including a few terraces where you can relax between activities or eat breakfast. The breakfast buffet offerings were ok and included hard-boiled eggs, fool beans, cooked vegetables, and an assortment of bakes goods as well as cheeses and fresh veggies and fruit. '

'Close to metro in a cozy neighborhood '

'I stayed at Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences and overall the location is quite good — Zamalek is a nice, convenient area to stay in Cairo. Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by one issue. I asked the hotel to help arrange a dinner at the Maxim Nile Cruise, and they also organized transportation. I was charged $50 one way for the taxi, while the same ride via Uber costs only around €2–3. This felt like a significant overcharge and left me with the feeling of being...

'I had a great stay at Zamalek House Hotel. The location is one of the best thing, right in Zamalek and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. I enjoyed being able to walk around the neighborhood. It’s pretty safe. The room was clean, simple, comfortable, and the hotel was a great base for exploring Cairo. The staff were friendly and helpful. I got a red eye flight, arrived early for the check in, and they helped me to get a room. Overall, Zamalek House...

'We booked a 2 bedroom unit. First we went to the hotel with our reservation and they told us to go to the next building because it was a Brassbell Zamalek booking. We went to the next building and there was a problem which they resolved by sending us back to the hotel who gave us a 2 bedroom suite that was not renovated with a very old and dirty carpet and a very high bathtub. We requested to be moved, but all they could offer was a one bedroom. We still did not get an explanation as to why our...

'Very close to the city centre'

'Brass Bells provided no information in advance about how to check in. When we arrived at the building, which is a huge apartment tower, there was no signage or any way to find someone to help. We passed a small dark unmarked office, but no one was inside. Eventually, someone from a nearby shop offered to go find someone to help. A young man came after about 5 minutes, who said he was from Brass Bells and took us to the office room we had passed earlier.'

'Konumu ve temizlik mükemmel '

'The apartments are bit old and they need major renovation and furniture need to be replaced with something clean and good, sheets, pillows, towels, curtains. … all old and look dirty you ask yourself if it’s safe to use them!!! Stated the bad and now the goods! Good size, Helpful staff, reasonable price, great location, loved the neighbourhood, great cafes and restaurants around, short walk to the Nile and main active area.'

'The room was not like the pictures. It was neglected and wore out. The entire building was in bad shape. The room and surrounding small spaces were cleaned but just outside the building, there was tons of garbage and abandoned buildings. This is a budget stay and beware of your safety. The security was just one very young man in a small guardhouse, '
