We wish there would’ve been a vacuum cleaner available during our stay since it’s pet-friendly. We would’ve been happy to clean more before we checked out. The washer doesn’t spin clothes out well so it takes FOREVER to dry clothes. It made doing laundry here an inconvenience with 11 people who needed to wash towels and clothing during our stay, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker. There is erosion netting in the yard, and we had to free several snakes from it during our stay. So be extra aware if traveling with young children and pets. Our dog was nipped on the nose by a trapped snake, but thankfully it wasn’t venomous. We know wildlife is a part of the Smokies, but that could likely be prevented if the netting wasn’t in the yard, so just be cautious when in the yard. It was nice to have a working gas grill. The kids loved the game room, and the cabin is a perfect walking distance to the strip. Be bear aware, though, when walking. We saw a bear on the road on our way back one evening, and we had one try to get into our UTV in the driveway. There was plenty of room for 11 of us, and it was nice to be able to bring our pets. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay despite the few
