Overall property was in need or better repair. Bed in guest room wobbled and unsecured. Tables in the Living Room wobbled. Kitchen was very small and not very functional. Appliances were subpar. TV in Main Bedroom did not work well and the remotes were falling apart. You would press a button on the remote and there was a lag time before the channel changed and sometimes the TV would just go back to the main screen on its own. Sink in Guest Bath was leaking. We had to put down a towel. The view was great and the complex was well cared for. This unit however needs some improvement.

Family Vacay

Overall the stay was okay. Personally feel like pictures need to be updated on listing as we were a little disappointed and felt like they weren’t super accurate. Different coffee pots, lots of paint damage to walls, half of closest door missing, broken/different lamps in rooms. Also, some of the outlets were controlled by light switches that also controlled overhead lights so we couldn’t even use all the outlets. Front door never actually closed fully and latched so you always had to manually lock it to ensure no one would come in. Main shower didn’t even have a liner so water always got everywhere and the other shower has just a cheap liner that hardly worked. Overall none of these things made the stay terrible it just didn’t feel “luxury” like the listing stated. We’d more than likely still stay here again now that we’re aware of what we’re actually getting and the other facilities on the property make it worth it for us.

Great Stay Away from the Crowds

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The location and price point were unbeatable for the Gatlinburg area. We wanted something far enough away from the crowds so as not to be overwhelming, and this rental definitely met that desire. It is a bit of a drive from most locations, so if you are wanting something within walking distance of downtown, this wouldn't be right for you. The condo has a little age, but nothing that created any problems or disappointment for our family.

Birds Eye view from the Summit

My mom, husband, and I stayed here for a week in December. The property and condo were quite impressive. Exactly like the pictures. Lovely view of the ski mountain and surrounding naturescape. Was clean and stocked with necessities. I contacted manager a few times and he responded back immediately with solutions. Highly recommend this condo for your family vacation or just a weekend getaway. Thanks for the memories. Roxanne

Beautiful Views, Updated Condo

Property was clean, beautiful, and looked exactly the same as advertised in the VRBO photos. Owner was very helpful and fast to respond when I needed assistance accessing the condo upon arrival. My only recommendation to improve my stay would have been to have one serving/pack of complimentary coffee since the property is quite far up the mountain and away from any stores/restaurants.

Beautiful

Enjoyed our stay and experience. Great view. If you're not use to driving up and down moutains take your time. It's tricky but definitely worth it at the top. There were bears around (we saw them around the garbage area) so take food out of your vehicles. We will be back next time we plan another stay. We fell in love with the area and mountains.

Nice condo!

Clean and stocked with basics like toilet paper and toiletries which was a welcome touch. Kitchen is small and would be difficult to make elaborate meals in, but functional (pans getting worn and need updating). Do not underestimate their warning of needing 4x4 and/or tire chains if staying during winter. I could not imagine making that drive up during inclement weather!

Family Mountain Getaway

Overall we had a lovely time and the property was clean. Beds were comfortable and we had a great time adventuring all over the Smoky Mountains! Definitely take heed to all of the warnings about the drive up to this place, lots of twists and turns and steep roads, but made it fun for us! View of the mountains is great! Only negative is you may want to consider bringing paper/extra dishes… there is no dishwasher (totally not a deal breaker!), but there weren’t enough bowls for our family of 4 to all eat at the same time. We had to get a little creative!

Great Stay, even better views.

We had originally booked this stay for the wrong night and the property manager was very accommodating, responsive and kind! We arrived to a very cute and clean apartment on our desired night. Getting to the location was very steep, but then again we are from Florida. A quick 8 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg. The apartment showed signs of aging and needed some updates here and there, but we stayed for a night and it was a very convenient location and price!

Beautiful view, nice location......but...

So, the condo itself is really cute. Check-in was easy. The parking is great. Spots very close to the condo. Nice complex it's located at. Here's my issue: I pay a cleaning fee, that not only assures that we leave the condo nice for the next people, but that the prior people do the same for us. We checked in and went to the market down the raod and got a frozen pizza. When we came back, pulled out a baking sheet to cook it on and it was gross! Greasy, nasty, unwashed. So I cleaned it and then proceeded to find that there were a lot of glasses and dishes that I wouldn't want to drink or eat off of. So, I washed all the dishes by hand as there's no dishwasher available. I told the owner that this was an issue and he proceeded to tell me that they probably came out of the dishwasher and the dirt was missed. Except, no dishwasher...where is housekeeping in all this? Shelves had nasty crumbs and dust on them. Shower has issues with peeling wall paper and fans in bathroom look like they haven't been cleaned in ages. Just overall cleanliness, not what I expect. Anyway, brought it to the owner's attenition, and he allowed us a 1hr later check-out for compensation. Wow, really? Okay, so that was the hour it took me to clean the dirty dishes and clean up things that weren't acceptable to me? Anyway, hate to ding any small business owner, but really felt like what I said fell on deaf ears. There are plenty of places to stay in Gatlinburg, probably won't stay here again. Also, the clubhouse sold us wood on April 30th, but May 1st refused us even though there was wood available and it was chilly enough for a fire. Girl told my husband they can't sell it after May 1st, Okay then. Trust me, they had wood to sell, felt like the girl just didn't want to have to go outside and unlock the place where it was located. Hot tub and inside clubhouse resources are "under construction" as well. Nice complex if they can get it togethere. The gal I met the first day in the clubhouse lives there and WHAT A SWEETHEART! Next day...not so much. Lol! Anyway, just saying "buyer beware".

Great view, quiet

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 1 yr. old. Never heard any neighbors and saw a bear on the ski hill! Needed binoculars to see much, but could tell there was something moving up there. Check in was easy, as was checkout. The welcome email has all the info you need for the entire stay really. Depending on how heavy your foot is, the drive up to the building is 10-15 minutes of very windy, steep roads, starting from where you turn onto the main road up, not from town. We didn't mind, but if you get motion sick easily you may!

What a Great Experience!!!

We had a great time visiting this unit and Gatlimburg for the first time. Travelling with kids is never easy, but the unit and the host contributed a lot to make this experience the best possible. The Host, Chris, was alwasys in contact, shared tips prior to the trip and helped us during our our stay. Answered questions quickly and provided the best support during the 3 nights we stayed in his property. This property is a great place for those travelling with Kids or with partner. The high points of it: - Located on the top of a mountain offering a fantastic view of Ober Mountain and entire region. - Easy to get in/out - Convinient Parking right in front of the unit, first floor. - Fully equiped - Great bedrooms, gigantic bed ( great for those travelling with kids). - Nice living room with fireplace - The best: the balcony where you can enjoy a great cup of coffee while appreciating the Mountains. I trully recommend all this property for multiple reasons above, but the main one is due the attention and support that the host had with me and my family. We are looking forward for our next trip to Gatlimburg and to stay there again. Enjoy the trip.

Up in the sky

The property was great! It is way up in the clouds but the views are spectacular. You can see the ski slopes for Uber Gatlinburg from the living room. It was very cute property and we even saw a bear. Great stay!

Summit Mountain Top Condos are always like you’re coming home but sometimes nicer…lol.

Great experience with checkin/check out process. Was able to contact with any questions and received a fast polite response back each time. Love this way of doing it. We enjoy being in the Smokey’s but not far from shops and entertainment!

Nice with Pretty views

The property was nice with pretty views, good communication with property manager and nice to work with. LOTS of bear activity, make sure and lock your car and get out any food or wrappers. The drive was a bit more than I expected, but that’s on me. Thanks for a nice long weekend!

Wonderful place to stay

We overall had a great stay at this condo. The only issue we had was that there were no sheets for the pull-out couch. The owner was quick to respond via messenger and some were dropped off within an hour. The kitchen is VERY small but we were only there for breakfast and to make sandwiches so that wasn't a big deal. Would stay again!
