"Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon."

"Although "Tiny" this place is much larger than a standard hotel room with the convenience of a washer/drier, kitchen and more space to enjoy. Parking right outside the front door was very convenient. The only thing we didn't like were the microfibre bath towels."

"Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again."

"there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing."

I didn’t read that one bedroom doesn’t have a door between the other bedroom and the door to it from the other room has a big window with no curtain, but it is in the listing so beware. "Despite the misinformation on the VRBO website regarding the availability of 3 beds vs 2, our stay was good. The facility is very clean, well appointed and easy to locate within proximity to the Conference area. The host was very quick to remedy the situation and all was well. An earlier property booked had been double booked and this was the fast alternative property available."
