The rooms definitely look old and dated, but they were clean. The nighttime front desk staff was very nice and welcoming; our only complaint about our stay was the breakfast service, which was pretty lacking. We were told breakfast is from 7-10am, yet when we arrived at 9am, there was no more hot water or coffee, and the pancake maker was out of batter. When we asked the staff for refills, he was hesitant to do so. They also have the exact same food options every day so it gets tiring if you're staying more than 2 nights at a time, which we were. Overall, I would say the daily charge is not worth the quality you get, but it makes sense that they upcharge for the surrounding redwoods tourism.
