'Super!'

'We stayed in this villa for a cycling trip with six people. For this purpose, the villa is great with a nice location for numerous trips, a pool to cool down in, and a breathtaking view when relaxing after a ride. There are some nice little towns around, a bit off the beaten track. The house has six beds (excl. the couches) so with six everyone has his/her own bed. Kitchen is equipped well enough to cook for all. Only downside is the steep, gravel road you need to climb and descent on each trip....

'We had a great stay. It was very clean and close to the heart of Taormina. Big shower. Great kitchen. Excellent communication with the owner. The stairs are a little hard to get up and down but also very charming. Parking is difficult and you need to walk 10 minutes as you can’t park right next to the place. Overall, highly recommend!'

'Giovanna and Francesco is a very vriendly and helpfull couple. They did all the things to make our stay very pleasant. They give good information, fruit, wine and vegetables from their own garden. We felt a warm welcome the whole week and is was a pity to leave this beautiful spot away from the crowd with a nice vieuw at the Etna. 'We stayed at Casa Spisone with our family of 6. The house is in a great location, walk to the beach, mini market and Taormina cable car. We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. The house was great for the family with two bedrooms downstairs, although you walk through one to get to the other. Carparking was a bonus and we used the outdoor patio a lot. 'Positive: This is a cute place in the town of Taormina. Negative: it is LOUD. They’re a lot noise until very late at night (ie 2am). Not only that, there’s the garbage/ recycling truck that comes by EVERY morning around 7am. This could have been mentioned in the description of the house. 'The photos on VRBO very accurately describe this nice little one bedroom/one bathroom house. There is a television now, which is not in the pictures. It was very clean when we arrived, and hopefully we left it in the same manner. The host did not meet us, but gave us information on how to access the home, which was easy. 'The region between Milazzo and Messina is not really nice. But Cala Marina is an oasis in there. Great garden (with Yakuzzi!), only a few footsteps to the sea. We spend days and evenings on the terraces (independ of the weather). House is well equipped. Really friendly owners.'

'Nettes Ferienhaus am Rande von Letojanni mit einer sehr netten Vermieterin. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft eine große Schale mit frischen Orangen und Zitronen auf dem Tisch stehen, im Kühlschrank war eine Flasche Wasser. Auch bei sonstigen Problemen half uns die Vermieterin promt und unkompliziert weiter. Das Haus ist schön am Rande von Letojanni gelegen, alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. 'Een zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse van de woning (woont er naast), kosten nog moeite gespaard om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het zwembad deel je met degene die in woning ernaast verblijven, maar in de praktijk betekent dat dat je het zwembad voor je alleen hebt. 'Nous avons pris une location de 10 jours chez Maria, une hôte irréprochable, au petit soins et toujours disponible. Nous sommes arrivés après 2 jours de route et quel bonheur de voir cette maison de village en pierre rénovée, propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. 'Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The town sits on a mountain top with beautiful vistas and fabulous sunsets. Fabulous views of Mt Etna. Not the easiest to druve to sitting on a mountain top. VERY winding road up to the town with many SHARP hairpin turns--not for the faint of heart! Host and hostess were extremely nice.'

'We would recommend this apartment for a stay in Taormina. The apartment itself was beautiful- it had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It’s a bit further from the main tourist area, but it was a fairly easy 10 minute walk to get there. It’s worth noting that there is a parking deck available not TOO far away, but you will climb a ton of stairs to get back to the street/apartment.
