'Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! '

'Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. 'We had a wonderful stay at this property. The listing matched the photos and description, and check-in/out was a breeze. The space was spotless, nicely decorated, and felt welcoming right away. The bed was very comfortable (though a little soft for my taste), and the air conditioning was excellent. 'Shower stall was too small, one bed squeaked and creaked, breakfast food and coffee weren’t hot, breakfast food wasn’t refilled, no place to sit in the room other than the bed or one desk chair.'

'Our stay at The Fairfield was nice. We have stayed here before and the hotel is still clean and well maintained. It’s close too many restaurants and shops. It’s also right off the interstate. Great choice if you are in this area. '
