'I did not like that Vagabond Motel was actually a Motel 6. Everything on the building said Motel 6, the colors of the building and the staff uniforms sid Motel 6 but the man at the front desk said "this is a Vagabond Motel. Go figure. My room smelled like a family of chain smokers just left. The manager did give me another room but maintained that I was mistaken, that all of the rooms were non-smoking. I'll never go back.'

'We liked the hotel, but it was a bit noisy at night. Perhaps because we were close to the swimming pool. Location is good and well-connected to highways. There is always parking. People working there always friendly and helpful. '

'Wij hadden dit hotel geboekt als tussenstop om Point Mugu, de Santa Monica Mountains en stranden van CA te bezoeken. Het hotel is hiervoor perfect gelegen. Ontbijt was inbegrepen en niet zo super, maar de heer aan de receptie was super behulpzaam om ons wegwijs te maken in de streek. Prijs/kwaliteit een zeer goed hotel met zeer behulpzaam personeel.'

'Sink water does not become sufficiently hot for a useful, manual shave. The lighting is too dark immediately after entering the room.'

'Staff was very helpful coordinating accommodations for myself and an elderly parent with special requirements. They made the stay very easy and all had smiles as they helped. (Thank you, Jackie!) Even the expected breakfast faire was made much better by the attentive and caring staff (Monica).'

'The staff was really nice and the check in was super fast. The room was decent but could have been cleaner. At the end I had to be realistic— you get what you pay for. All good.'

'The room was large and clean. There were two sinks, one in the bathroom area and one in the general entrance area, where the fridge was, so you could have drinks and an ice chest of snacks there. The staff was very nice. There was parking near the card key entrance (security) close to the room so you didn’t have to wander the halls looking for your room. Did not eat breakfast or anything in the dining area.'
