Newly renovated Tulare home near Downtown Restaurants, Shops and more. Perfect for couples or families traveling to the nearby National Parks, as a home base for all your adventures. Also ideal for traveling professionals because of its proximity to Tulare Adventist Hospital and Hwy 99. This is a great cozy spot for a quick trip or longer stay, conveniently located the heart of city close to all Tulare has to offer!!
The space
The home is located in an older neighborhood of Tulare, and is around the corner from the historic Linder Mansion. Many of the homes have been beautifully refurbished. Walking distance to restaurants, Bob Mathias stadium, near gas stations, fast food, and a less than 10 minute drive to the popular Tulare Outlet Mall. Easy freeway access, and roughly an hour from the National Park entrance. If you’re in town during the Tulare County Fair in mid-September, the popular fair parade is a block from the house, and the whole town comes out to watch the fair kick-off parade!!!

Convenient location

Traveled to Tulare to visit family and found the house convenient for getting around town. We were only there to sleep but found the accommodations great for our family. The only thing missing that would have made the house perfect was a pack n play. House was clean would definitely book again.

Very disappointing stay

We regret booking this property for our family stay. We checked in to a house with no A/C, the temperature outside was 106 degrees, so you can imagine the furnace we walked into. We were traveling with a toddler so we had to leave to let the house cool down. By the the time we were ready to shower we found cockroaches in both showers, in the morning the kitchen counter was infested with ants (we did not leave food out or a mess). The sink faucet wouldnt stay closed and water kept running, the toilet in one bsthroom was wobbly, the list goes on. Communication with the owner was horrible. We shared our concerns and we received automated responses if we were enjoying our stay and if we would like to extend our stay - ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Breakaway from the Breakaway

We stayed here with our 3 teenagers while exploring Sequioa National Forest and while it is a bit of a distance from the park, the house was the perfect place to wake up in/go back to for the days of our trip. A quiet neighborhood with easy motorway access and shops are close by to stock up on. The house is very clean and kitchen equipped with everything you would need to prepare family meals in. Its spacious enough for everyone to spread out and not feel cramped. Even the dog was happy with the size of the yard. I would stay here again.

Everything you look for in a VRBO

It was clean and had the resources we needed. This wasn’t just merely a “crash pad” but the focus of our stay was out of the house and the house served its purpose well. Great host.
