'My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

'It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.'

'Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). '

'Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!'

'We stayed at this location myself , my daughter, my best friend and her daughter and her husband. We all fit nicely in the home. The property was great. Very clean. Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. The text about local places, hikes and stores etc was So helpful and such a nice touch they add to this experience. We took morning walks around the area with the kids and...

'This lodge was absolutely stunning! It had so many amenities and was close to the river. It was a super relaxing and beautiful location & lodge. The pictures of the lodge and land does not do the property justice! 10/10 I would recommend anyone to stay here. My husband and I are already thinking to come back and hopefully stay longer than this visit. '

'This cabin was a lovely find! It’s tucked away behind a few trees, and yet right on the lake. There’s a beach a few steps away, and with kayaks and other water gear for use as well. It’s quite welcoming and easily accommodates a large group. The hosts are communicative and respond timely to questions. We love the area and would absolutely stay at the cabin again.'

'The house was very good for multi generation family gathering. Good size living room and very spacious dining room and kitchen area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. I chose this property for the lake views and the hot tub, and it was perfect for that! It was a cool, rainy weekend but we had plenty of space inside to gather.'

'Cute, whimsical, family friendly. Welcoming staff was a big plus for all of us. Good location- not in the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor yet still close to ice cream, mini golf and barbecue.'
