'Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. 'the exterior of the property is unkept. Veranda area needs a good clean and tidy-up of vegetation. it would make it so much more enjoyable to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Interior was clean and tidy enough. Adequate internal area for 2 adults and a preschooler, when going to the beach is main purpose. Bed was good. Warm and good facilities.'

'Beware, water pressure was very poor and temperature was lukewarm. It made a difference for 3 adults trying to shower at 5.30am. There is no insulation and the railway is nearby.
