'We traveled to Franconia, NH to be near the 100% zone if the solar eclipse. The property was beautiful, clean and welcoming. There were 4 large bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, 2 living areas and a big porch. We woke to the view of one of the nearby mountains and the yard was large enough for us to practice some snow shoeing. 'Beautiful house with great furnishings, comfortable beds, a well supplied kitchen, and plenty of outdoor amenities. Outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit with our group! Location is remote and quiet which is great for peaceful mornings and evenings, but it's still close to Woodstock/Lincoln for daytime activities. Be prepared to disconnect - there is wifi available but it is slow and spotty, especially with 4 users accessing at once.'

"The hotel is currently being renovated, so the corridor with the elevator is a construction site. Our room had not yet been renovated and made a dated impression. But all necessary facilities were present and working. Nice and helpful staff, especially the cleaners. Of the 5 hotels during our trip through New England, this was the least good."
