'I couldn’t get checked in until well past the published check in time. The room charges were overpriced from my perspective. I made the reservation to be able to take advantage of the rooftop restaurant. However it was closed for a wedding party. If I had known when making the reservation I would have driven down to Canton instead.
My room faced the street, and the room was not well insulated for sound suppression. When the bars closed you could hear people talking and cars on the road....

'30 minuten staan bellen en toeteren eer iemand kwam. Alhoewel ze je zagen staan. 30 minuten voor check Inn. Eerst moest tv in receptie aan op YT channel. De kamer en badkamer zijn dringend aan renovatie toe. Internet valt steeds weg, zelfs in de receptie. Ben er 3 jaar geleden verbleven en toen was het er netjes. Het was toen nog in handen van Amerikanen en nu Indiërs. Continentaal ontbijt ontbreekt ook. Er is nog geen heet water voor thee. '

'The cabin I stayed in on willow creek drive - waterfalls and it was so beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed my one night stay and will be booking again. Thanks for having such a nice area to have a peace mind and the hot tub was excellent. So relaxing!'

'Room was clean, staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was ok. Several workers from nearby chicken plant staying there, which made it very loud in the halls at 5-6 in the morning as they were leaving for work. The pool and hot tub were covered up with plywood, sign stating under renovation. When clearly nothing was being done as the plywood had been there so long it is deteriorated. No sign of being renovated. Not worth $200 a night.'

'We've been three times now, because every time we go, the staff is so kind and welcoming. We stay in the lodge right below the restaurant, so it's just a quick walk upstairs to excellent food and service. The little handmade soaps in the rooms are wonderful. And the beds are fluffy and comfortable. We love sitting outside our room in the rocking chairs and enjoying the mountain air. We'll definitely be back again!'

'Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests.
The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat...

Gone are basic amenities, No towels racks, no shampoo, one switch bathroom light and fan, The AC was a.mystery and seemed to be turned off at some point. The TV was a joke, dark and barely watchable. Next morning we skipped and or.just bypassed breakfast after seeimg it. The coffee as well. The property was clean and well kept
and was good for an overnight stop but for the price, not memorable.'
