'Interessante woning, op paar minuten van station. Rustige buurt. Ligt wel wat 'ver' van bekende dingen als San Marcoplein en Rialto. Maar onderweg en in de buurt zie je juist wel het echte leven in Venetië'

'It was quite a nice place. The bedroom was wonderful and the kitchenette was usable though lacked a burner. We were able to use the microwave to make breakfast and some dinners. Course we were in Venice so who wants to cook too much. Apartment was absolutely delightful. Martin was wonderful and very helpful. We were right in the middle of things.'

'The apartment was perfect for what we needed - great location a couple of minutes from Academia bridge, clean and nicely appointed. Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful.'

'The good thing is, this property is close to Saint Marc’s Square. Very handy to see attractions. Getting the key out of lock box was not the best. The code did not work, but we pulled hard and it opened. The unit could use some repair and paint. There was a rope tied to flusher in one of the bathrooms, in order to flush the toilet. Wires were just hanging out of the wall with no cover in one of the bedrooms and if you have young children that could be an issue. No towels were there for doing...

'Such a great rental! The apartment was very well-appointed and we felt right at home. It was in a nice quiet area. The living room included a single bed, which provided flexibility for sleeping areas. The bathroom had a good-sized counter so there was plenty of room to lay out toiletries. 'The owners were awesome with communication and pleasant to respond with. The accommodations were not what I thought I booked but close to the pictures (a little misleading as I thought I was on a second floor) bed was saggy but the worst was the smell. It just smelt. I bought some scented candles and that helped. Maybe some glade plug-ins would help. I do realize we were at ocean level and it’s damp. '

'Held all the charm of Venice. Filled with culture, the high ceilings were amazing. Great facilities! Very spacious. We could walk in any direction and find a local restaurant or mini shops to enjoy. Very close to Rialto bridge and San Marco square.'
