Overall, this apartment was a great stay. The space was very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. The kitchen had adequate cooking utensils, and most items were good quality, which I value. One suggestion would be to provide coffee filters, as short-term guests may not purchase them; or consider a reusable filter for about $5 on Amazon.
The hosts were extremely responsive and replied to messages promptly. However, the Wi-Fi did not work during the stay despite multiple attempts to connect. The hosts mentioned they would address the issue, but it was never resolved, which was inconvenient and required relying on mobile data.
One drawback was the lack of storage furniture for clothing, which made it difficult to organize belongings. The larger concern was activity in the building’s stairwell. Groups gathered there drinking and smoking, which felt uncomfortable. On several occasions, there were late-night knocks on the door (around 1 AM and 3 AM), which was concerning and impacted the overall sense of safety.
On a positive note, the location is close to Fort Lauderdale by the Sea. Once across the bridge, you can request a Circuit car, a free and convenient electric ride service similar to Uber. In summary, the apartment is well maintained and enjoyable, but there are areas for improvement, particularly Wi-Fi reliability, guest safety, and storage. With these improvements, this could be an even better place to stay.
