  • Ons prachtige huis is gelegen in het hart van de majestueuze redwood bomen van Fort Bragg, Calif. Deze ideale locatie, die op 10 hectare ligt, is ruim en privé, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en voorzieningen. Slechts 5 minuten van de stad en minder dan 1,5 km van MacKerricher State Beach Park - beroemd om zijn branding op het witte water, zandstranden en wandel- en fietsroutes.

    Het grote dek van 1000 vierkante meter is perfect voor entertainment, barbecuen, genieten in de hot tub of gewoon ontspannen met een goed boek. Speel een spelletje cornhole met familie en vrienden, of misschien een goed spelletje ping-pong om uw vakantie te beginnen. Net buiten het dek is er een enorme achtertuin die voldoende ruimte biedt om te voetballen, hoefijzers, wiffle ball of kick-the-can.

    Dit huis slaapt 10 comfortabel en is perfect voor grote groepen of kleinere intieme partijen. De grote volledig uitgeruste keuken is geschikt voor elke chef-kok, van de doorgewinterde fijnproever tot de simplistische kok of barbecue op de grote gas-BBQ op het dek. Open keuken ontwerp met een vier-pits fornuis en dubbele ovens, roestvrij koelkast met waterfilter, magnetron en vaatwasser.

    De ruime woonkamer heeft panoramische glazen ramen die uitkijken op de redwoods waardoor veel natuurlijk licht binnenkomt. De kamer is compleet met een open haard, flatscreen-tv, Netflix, dvd en is perfect om te genieten van films of games bij het vuur. Het hoofdhuis heeft drie slaapkamers en twee volledige badkamers. De grote slaapkamer heeft een Calif. King, dubbele kasten en gemonteerde flatscreen TV / DVD. De andere twee kamers zijn uitgerust met queensize bedden en een flatscreen-tv / dvd. Master bad heeft een inloopdouche en ligbad. Het hoofdgebouw is perfect voor volwassenen en kleine kinderen. Extra bijgevoegde kinder / speelkamer heeft vier aparte bedden en een bank. Kamer is groot genoeg voor opblaasmatras. Kinder / speelkamer heeft een grote flatscreen TV / Netflix / DVD, elektrische open haard / verwarming, tafelvoetbal.

Great spot for families. Central to town, beaches. Nice layout both the house and property. Clean hot tub. Everything we needed for our trip was available for our use. Love that there is an abundance of things for kids to do. Badminton, ping pong table, foosball table, etc. Plenty of room for a family to spread out and enjoy. We will be back for sure.

Our host was very helpful before arrival, the kitchen had the right supplies to cook most of our meals at the house. The location was fantastic! The house was clean and the spa was super nice!

I almost don't want to write about this place because we love it so much and want to keep it a secret! It has everything. Literally. It's like being a guest in someone's home and not just some rental. It has so much nostalgia, I hope they never change the decor or anything else. We drive quite a way to be near the ocean then we don't want to leave the house. My favorite places are all the quiet places to sit outside. You are surrounded by these towering redwood groves but yet there is massive space for kids to play and all the things to play with. If they would sell it to me, I would buy it, it is THAT good.

The house is beautiful and amazingly well furnished with quality supplies. There is a big yard, plenty of room for kids to run wild! Big windows to watch the winter storm as you sit by a warm cozy fire.

The hosts were great at communicating and answering questions. This property is incredible, set in a forest with beach access less than a mile away. We enjoyed riding the provided bikes to the beach and around the neighborhood and property. Our granddaughters loved the private room with four twins. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s a pantry with lots of spices. The outside grill worked great. The hot tub was perfect. The house felt like a home and is well decorated but the show stopper is the outside with planters full of flowers and succulents and touches of whimsy everywhere. We ate at Princess Seafood twice and it was good, the clam chowder has lots of potatoes and is creamy. We enjoyed our lunch at Sea Pal the most. Highly recommend the fish and chips and fried mushrooms. The clam chowder is full of large tender clams. We sat on the patio and watched the fishing boats come in. We rode the Skunk Train and took our dog with us. We all really enjoyed that outing and recommend it. We tried booking horseback riding but they were closed for maintenance. Overall our family of 10 fit comfortably. I’d stay again !

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in Fort Bragg!! Our host was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this property if you need a place for a large family to enjoy time together!

We loved our stay here!! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The house has everything you need especially the kitchen. We really enjoyed the fireplace while staying here also. The location was perfect for us, it’s right across the street from Makarricher state park and not for from town if you need to go for ice cream. Highly recommend.

Awesome house!

The house and property are amazing, we loved our stay! Just know that the kids room is away from the main house so if you have young kids you'll need an adult to sleep in that room too.

We were so impressed from the moment we arrived at this beautiful property. The grounds are open and spectacular with Redwoods, Rhododendrons (some still in bloom in mid June!), and flower beds of Nastursiums, Lobilia and succulents. Absolutely gorgeous! The house was so clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of 10 from the ages of eight to ninety two. It was FULLY STOCKED with everything one could ever need to cook (and coffee!!!) plus games, bikes, boogie boards, corn hole, horseshoes and more! The beds were comfy and bathrooms were great. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck overlooking the beautiful meadow and took advantage of the hot tub after a wonderful day tidepooling at MacKerricher State Park (free day use!). We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Our host Kari was amazing!!! She was so communicative and lightning quick with answers to our questions. Check in and check out could not have been easier. It was a perfect stay. Thank you Kari!

Thanksgiving Holiday

House was very comfortable and clean. The grounds were really fun for playing and exploring. Hot tub was super. Location really good. And the kitchen was well equipped and fun to cook in.
