Chalets in Fort Augustus

'Dit hotel is een mooi statig gebouw die terug doet denken aan oudere tijden. Echter zijn de kamers zeer goed verzorgd en van vele gemakken voorzien. Het hotel personeel is zeer behulpzaam en aardig. Het restaurant ziet er goed uit en het eten is er zeer goed. Dan heb ik het nog niet over de omgeving gehad. De schotse hooglanden zijn echt een 'must see' in je leven. In de omgeving van Loch Ness zijn mooie ruines en forten te zien, en dat samen met de natuur een hele mooie vakantie...

'It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. One of the nicest place we have booked. '

'We only stayed here one night. The cabin was clean and we were presented with some excellent snacks. It was a little small for three adults but would be perfect for a couple. As with most places in Scotland, there is no air conditioning and it was unseasonably warm when we arrived. Thankfully there was a fan to use and during the night it cooled off. 'Lovely apartment in super cool abbey'

'We werden heel goed onthaald met de vraag of we er al eens waren geweest en het gebouw dus al kenden... En na een paar dagen, begrepen we waarom de man die vraag stelde... Bij een volgend bezoek aan Schotland boeken we er zeker terug een appartementje! Alle ruimtes in het hele gebouw zijn goed georganiseerd, netjes en zeer gebruiksvriendelijk. We voelden ons er meteen thuis, een warme omgeving!'

'This is a beautiful property with lovely facilities. We stayed out of season, so sadly not all of the local attractions were available, but that was down to the time of year. The owners could not have been more helpful and the apartment was very well furnished with everything we could have needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.'

'We loved The Chapter House at The Highland Club. The entire property is amazing, and very interesting. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax upstairs, downtairs and outside in the private courtyard of The Chapter House. We only stayed here 2 nights and had busy days so we were only able to enjoy the property for the evenings. We wish we would have had more time here just to relax and enjoy the property. The location of The Highland Club is excellent...walking distand to restaurants,...

'Cottage 10 is exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and clean. Great location. The Abbey grounds are beautiful; walk into town is very nice. And the walk from the Abbey along the South Loch Ness Trial is wonderful! Also, great location for day trips west to Isle of Skye and north to Inverness and beyond.'
