Enjoy Folly from a quaint spot 1 block from the beach, and 1 block from Center Street!

The unit is located only one block from Center St. and right behind Bert's Market - the local award winning grocer and deli. It has one bedroom, a pull out sofa in the living room, and a full kitchen and bath. Linens - including beach towels - are provided. It is equipped with Direct TV, Netflix and WiFi. This is a great little spot for a couple or a family with small children to enjoy Folly from!

In addition to the bungalow there is a communal outdoor kitchen, with gas fireplace and outdoor tv with cheerful cafe lights.

There are also a variety of communal beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys.

We are locals, but our units are setup to be as DIY as possible. Rest assured, we are available should you have any issues or questions!

Folly Beach is an eclectic barrier island town to Historic Charleston. Artist, musicians, surfers and regular folk abound. Folly is a place that prides herself on welcoming people from all walks of life.

The bungalow is located only one block from Center st, where the shops and restaurants are and is right behind Bert's Market! So pretty much everything is in walking distance. If you want to explore the island further, renting a golf cart or beach cruising bicycle is a good option. Uber, your car or a rental can be used to travel off island to Charleston or Johns Island.

Bert's Market can stock the unit with groceries with no service fee.

Also worth noting is do not walk or ride a bicycle on Ashley Ave when possible- it can be a busy rd during the summer that folks drive too fast on.

There are a few great playgrounds on the island at 5th East and 5th West. There is also a dog park at 5th East.
