'We very much enjoyed our stay at Valley View. The location is fabulous... close enough to both Cambridge and Salt Fork State Park to do something for a little bit and then come back to the cabin to relax. The cabin itself is great. It is the perfect size for a couple or a small family. The screened in porch is definitely a highlight. We didn't use the firepit or charcoal grill during our time at the cabin but they were a nice amenity to have available. The owner was responsive and timely in all...

'We stayed for one night while exploring the Salt Fork area for the first time. The weather was not great but Brittany allowed us to check in early, so we ended up spending most of our time at the cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooking on the grill. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and clean. The outside was nice as well but a bit unkempt - mostly minor things that could be resolved easily (grass needed cut, found some garbage lying around, grill was very old and rusty with food residue)....

'The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.'

'Absolutely wonderful cabin and host! We have been to quite a few vacation rentals over the past few years and Joe and his cabin are abovr and beyond! Communication was easy and always friendly. I cant say enough good about the host or property!'

'Our second time here. A great lake house perfect for fishing and relaxing. We love being able to rent a boat from the marina and dock it at the house. Beautiful location with a wonderful view of the lake right off the back patio. Great communication with the owner who made sure we had everything we needed!'

'The cabin was nice and clean. However, the whole cabin was unlevel. The floors were slanted. Since the floors were unlevel the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly because the water level couldn’t refill properly when flushed. None of the batteries worked in the remotes for the TV etc. Had to go buy batteries. Also, there is a tree limb that kept scraping the metal roof.'

'Long weekend getaway with friends staying at the RV campground. Short drive to the park, close to lakefront restaurant and boat rentals, nice property with plenty of amenities. Overall relaxing stay and an enjoyable day on the water.'
