'The comforter and shower curtain liner didn’t appear to be very clean. Also, we’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t do basic maintenance to the rooms. We requested new towels at 8am so we could have clean ones to shower with and by the time we got back at 4pm they weren’t outside our door so we had to request them again. We had to request new bed sheets to make our bed feel clean again. Lastly, the sink didn’t drain. Everything else about the property was great.'

'While the property was clean & well maintained, the pool was closed for three of the five days we were there (bummer). However, staff were quick to let us know that the pool of an adjacent property could be utilized instead. Everyone was cheerful, friendly & quick to assist. Our room was comfortable, cool & quiet. Loved the location as we walked everywhere.'

'This is a wonderful old mansion. I love that they did NOT modernize it to the point it’s lost its charm and character. The staff were amazing. The room was nice, clean and cool with a nice view. I would highly recommend staying here. The only negatives experienced is the noise level. Be prepared to hear propane trucks at 6 in the morning stopping at the cafe and the smell of the seaweed can get pretty rough. So if you’re a light sleeper (which unfortunately I am) or if your sense of smell is...
