'Kayaking on the lake was lovely. The room was very clean and had the cutest cottage charm. We visited in May, but these units are well suited for winter activities as well, with the jetted tub, fireplace and kitchenette. The heat was off, the outside temperature dropped into the 40's after midnight and the unit was still almost 80° inside.'

'Great stay for a wedding. The staff was incredible - upgraded our room to a suite for no additional fee which was awesome & had an ample amount of space. Only thing to note is that they didn’t have central cooling in the room, which makes sense for a lodge-type resort, but they did have an external a/c unit in the living room area. It is connected to the wall, so it’s not portable/ couldn’t move into the bedroom. Not a huge deal, but something to note for anyone looking at the king suite /...

'The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better.'

It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby. A fabulous few days in North Lake Tahoe that we plan to experience again.'
