« My husband, adult and teen sons, and I decided on a quick getaway to Door County at the end of July 2025. We saw this property was available for the days we needed, and we were happy with its location between Carlsville and Egg Harbor (plus private and quiet) but has easy access to everything. The property is quiet, extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. « This was a wonderful place for our family with young children to stay on our trip. The hosts anticipated every need- step stools, baby gate, shampoos, lamps for getting around at night, board games, campfire supplies, and even a radio! We enjoyed our stay and loved that it was so close to everything in Door County to explore all the towns. The hammock was a great way to spend the morning and the reading nook was a great place for bedtime stories. Would recommend to anyone! »

« We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus! »

« This was the perfect place for our extended family gathering of 13 people. The elevated view of Sturgeon Bay was amazing. We enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit and exploring the water using the kayaks and paddleboards. We also used the bikes in the activity shed to roam the neighborhood. »

« Checkin and checkout process very simple.Very Clean! Beautiful home set privately in woods. Kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials to prepare nice family meals.Suggestions:Living Room does not have adequate comfortable seating for the amount of guests allowed. Only seats 4. (Couch and arm chair)—Limited mirrors. « Great location and well maintained. Easy to walk to Wilson’s and right between fish creek and sister bay. We like to play family board games and it was a little dim in the living room at night but overall we’d recommend to stay there for sure. »

« Great space! The house had everything we could think of - toys/books for little ones, games for adults, pack n play, and even a star astronaut display in kids room. The 3-season room was perfect in the morning and evenings - listening to birds was so peaceful. Would highly recommend. »

« Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable with everything we needed but just rustic enough. Quieter spot but close enough to everything. Cozy. Exactly what we were looking for. Bring water shoes for the waterfront, but otherwise - Just enjoy this great location. Great, timely communication here too. WiFi was having issues when we were there, not a big deal for us, but property manager was super attentive and got a tech out right away to address it. She even brought us some...
