'Drie huizen die zijn samengevoegd tot 1 mooi gerestaureerd Riad. Erg smaakvol ingericht, met mooie mozaïeken, prachtige muursculpturen, en knusse hoekjes waar je op mooie banken kunt zitten. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en attent gedurende het verblijf. Iedereen spreekt Arabisch en Frans, de gastheer en vrouw spreken ook Engels, en de gastheer zelfs Italiaans en Spaans. Er zijn 11 kamers, waarvan wij een classic room hadden. Een mooie, smalle rechthoekige kamer, met een raam wat uitkomt op 1...

'Riad Braya is een erg mooie Guest House. Het ligt midden in de Medina en op loopafstand van de Blue Gates. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam op alle vlakken. Ze gaven ons bij aankomst meteen goed advies over het bezoeken van de Medina, zetten de bubbels in het zwembad aan zodra ze in de gaten krijgen dat je gaat zwemmen tot het verzorgen van ons (erg vroege) ontbijt op de dag dat we vertrokken. Je kijkt je ogen uit op het dakterras want daar kun je over de Medina heen kijken....

The room was clean and the bathroom too but there is this sewer smell which is understandable because it’s an old riad and could have come through the open window from outside. The manager’s hospitality will make up for whatever structural lacking. Nordine welcomed us with mint tea and helped us arrange for our day tours, walked us to tour meeting place. He recommended a very nice place to dine called Chez Hakim where staff are...

'Estuvimos tres noches y realmente fue un acierto este alojamiento. Es muy sencillo pero tiene todo lo que necesitas para poder descansar. La habitación era muy amplia y con baño en suite. La cama enorme y muy cómoda. Tanto Youssef como su madre estuvieron pendientes todo el tiempo de todo lo que necesitamos. Preguntamos si nos podían cocinar por la noche y fue realmente un gusto. Si volvemos a Fez unos días, repetiremos con ellos. '

'Service at the Riad was great. Special thanks to Latifa, Yousef and Abdou for making our stay so pleasant. Rooms were in great shape and had the little touches that showed great taste. For our departure Latifa and Dominique went out of their way to ensure our tour guide picked us up from the parking lot closest to the Riad. The location of the Riad is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the parking lot so getting to/from the Riad with luggage in tow is difficult and ended up being frustrating...

'This riad is absolutely stunning. Located in a quiet street in the old medina, yet close walking distance to the souk, famous blue gate and more. The riad is beautifully decorated, beautiful courtyard with a fountain. There's a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the medina. 'This charming and authentic Riad is in a great location to explore Fes. Stairs to second and third floor are narrow and a bit tricky to navigate if you are older. The rooms are comfortable each with its own HVAC unit. Would highly recommend dining at Cafe Clock and taking a cooking lesson there with Chef Souad.'
