« We had a slight hiccup when checking in, but it was quickly remedied. House was great with lots of living space for our large group to spread out. I would definitely rent again and will if we are in this area again (likely since our daughter lives in the area). Kitchenware was adequate for our needs. Could have used a few more towels. We weren’t able to reach the host near the end of the trip (asking about the towels) but most needs were met by the management company. Had to add one more day...

« This was a lovely place to spend a night catching up with some family--it was a meeting point for us coming from different directions. The rural-ish but neighborhoody surroundings, and the beautiful canal and walking paths along it, were lovely and relaxing. A nice respite from the city. The house itself was cute and homey. The only issues we had were that the hot water wasn't working; we didn't try using it until about an hour before we planned to depart, so I suspect the host would have been...

« This home is has it all. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. Tony was an excellent, responsive host. Plenty of room. Very clean. Comfortable and classy. They even had coffee KCups stocked in the kitchen. Being able to use the grill was a plus. The home is in a secluded area, yet is still a quick ten minutes away from town. The house is even better than the pictures in the listing showed. »

« My friends and I have been doing weekend trips around DC for seven years now and this stay easily had the most amazing views. The pictures do not do it justice. Great beds, one of our folks enjoyed the pool, and all in all we had an amazing time. Note that the sixth bedroom is in the loft. We also loved the screened in porch and great water pressure and birdwatching. Tony was very responsive, checking in throughout our stay. »

« We have stayed here before in 2024. The Linden Chalet is quiet, surrounded by beautiful tall oak trees and is a MUST for a chillaxing vacay. Everything we could need was there in place. I wanted for nothing! And, the host kept up with quick texts and daily checked with us to make sure we were experience a fantastic stay...and WE DID! I will certainly rent this home again. « This is once again a terrible experience using a VRBO listing. We were contacted a few minutes to check-in that the cleaning staff were not done and ready for us to occupy. This was awful because we had been out and about all day and needed to clean up and freshen up because we had a show to attend in Shepherdstown at 5:30 pm. I told the contact we did not care if cleaning people were there we needed to get in at 4pm as promised and we would be gone in 40 minutes!!! but we need to get ready!...
