'Hotel is beautiful - but if you have a lot of baggage - there is NO ELEVATOR and lots of stairs, making that a bit of a slog. Staff is professional and friendly - the hotel is in the central square - you can park outside to drop off your things, then drive a block away and park in free street parking. The rooms are clean and mine included a washing machine. Linens are high quality - I did not use the spa but it looked fantastic. it's a beautiful hotel in a lovely small town. '

'Een bijzondere plaats ,super centraal en mooi ingericht ,zeer vriendelijke en correcte staf. Alleen bij een verblijf van deze status is het zwak dat er geen welkomstdrankje wordt aangeboden, evenmin op de kamer. Ook het meer moeten betalen bij het ontbijt voor een verse jus d'orange of eieren vind ik zwak.'

'abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel situato in un paesino a pochi km da Assisi. l'hotel è "diffuso" cioè le stanze sono dislocate in maniera sparsa all'interno del comprensorio (in questo caso un castello medievale). l'arredamento e la pulizia della stanza è impeccabile, quello che ci ha deluso, più che altro perchè non riportato sul sito, è che la stanza fosse in un seminterrato accessibile da una porta finestra. non una posizione piacevole sinceramente... se lo avessi saputo avrei...

'We booked to stay in Pietralunga. This place is actually on the other side of the valley, 2.3 km from the town centre. However the lovely hotel owner gave us a lift in her car so we could continue walking the Way of St Francis '

'Alle vier de medewerkers van dit hotel (een op zich leuke familie) spreken EN VERSTAAN geen woord Engels ( of welke andere taal dan Italiaans dan ook). En dat maakt alles heel lastig: hoe gaan we betalen, waar en wanneer is het ontbijt, hoe werkt de WiFi, hoe lopen we naar de stad.... Verder is het wel schoon en de badkamers zijn onlangs gerenoveerd. De kamer zelf, incl. de bedden, waren oud. Ontbijt was voor een twee sterren hotel in orde.'

'The staff was so very helpful and getting taxis for us. Also, we had an injury and they gave us ice several times for a wound. They made a sack breakfast for us the night before we had an early departure.'

'È stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. La casa molto accogliente e attrezzata perfettamente per ospitare 2 famiglie comode. Il Check-in e il check-out agilissimo e casa molto pulita. Camere grandi e luminose, con il necessario per sentirsi a proprio agio (ventilatore, specchi, grucce negli armadi, cuscini, letti abbastanza comodi ...) Ottimi gli spazi interni comodissimi e spaziosi. Lo spazio esterno vanta una vista meravigliosa e rilassante. Si potrebbe attrezzare forse meglio. La piscina è...

'We had a great holiday in the villa and specifically enjoyed the garden, pool and location on top of a hill. Small grocery in 5 min drive. Although 40 min drive to Ancona / the coast, the location for us was nothing less than fabulous. Visited several wineries in the neighbourhood as well as a olive oil maker. Contact with owner is very prompt and smooth; check-in and check-out effortless.'
