Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. 'Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. 'We had an amazing time at Black Point staying in Seaweed Cottage. Ida was very responsive to my questions and arranged a golf cart rental and boat tour for us. She picked us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of the island pointing out restaurants and markets, and stopped at a market before taking us to her cottage.
