'This place is like heaven on earth, man. The owners, Chris and Ted, are super cool. Chris would take the time to show us these amazing flowers around the resort whenever he saw us. One of them even smelled like Chanel No. 5! They have tortoises in the courtyard, which was pretty awesome. I even helped find one. Josh at the front desk was super helpful and friendly, giving us all the best info about the island and what was going on in town. The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear...

'The location of this property was great. The shoreline was 10-15 yards from our patio. The beach is stony and was best if I wore water shoes. The swimming pool was good, but we used it only once as beaches were so accessible. We had a rental car, which was needed for us to get around and to explore the island. 'If the photos of the place look good to you then you will love this place. If you own a pair of Birkenstocks and enjoy seeing hummingbirds you will have a great visit. Had a great time at the Inn and went snorkeling right at the bottom of the driveway. We had a room with no AC and just listened to the wildlife all night. Wonderful!'

'We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!'
