'Fantastic for the price. Went for a wedding in a nearby hotel so was looking for a place to lay the head. The rooms were on the smaller side but still plenty of room to relax and change. Bed was very comfy and everything was well presented. TV in the rooms with tea coffee facility and a hair dryer. Even a couple of wee chocolate mints and a bottle of fresh water. I would have no issues staying again!'

The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. 'The guy who owns the property is a character, and he clearly loves the history of the house. However, the rooms are in disrepair—open electrical sockets! Stuff is everywhere. The place still needs a lot of work. It smells throughout the house of cigar or pipe smoke. The B&B itself could be amazing but it needs professional management!'
