'My family and I stayed at the Beachcomber for five days and had a wonderful time. With young kids it was very convenient to many local attractions - Legoland, San Diego Zoo Safari Park and a walk to the beach. The house itself was great and had everything we needed to start our stay. Although the pool is not heated you can heat the hot tub portion; it heats up quickly. The bedroom and bath layout served our family well. You do have to watch small children around the stairs; we used a few chairs...

'The house was really clean and actually larger than the pics show. We were there for a football tourney for my son and it fit this family of 4 perfectly. Very close to downtown Encinitas and the local beaches / trails. The host was excellent with check in and communication. Would definitely stay again..'

'Just a perfect, luxary and spacious house in a very nice village just 20 minutes from San Diego. The owners are very helpfull and in the house a lot of touris information available. Everything for a beachday is for use, the beach is just a couple minutes away. Wonderfull terrasses with beautifull views over the sea. We just loved it. Thanks.'

'Check in was diaster there was no key in lockbox.had to wait dor locksmith to make new key and fix the lockbox.Property is in need off renovaties definitely it needs to be upgraded carpet had lots of stainsi on it..outside is great with pool and hot tub.Bedrooms are on the small side.We had a great time because we were visiting our chikdren and grsnd children fir Christmas.'

'Although you can’t get a better view, the house itself is lacking at this price point. It has been updated some, but improvements are still needed. The stairs from the garage to the main floor are carpeted and are filthy. This is also the first impression because you enter through the garage. All the bedrooms are carpeted & need replaced as well. The master had an odor but improved with fabric disinfectant. The gas fireplaces were both non-functional, despite the additional energy charge.
