Cottages in Emsworth

'Firstly have to say Henry Adams staff have been amazing as due to our house sale falling through we could extend our stay no problem. The house is in a perfect location and lovely garden for the pups, great gardener and communication with HA staff.. The home is very dated and unfortunately uncomfortable (we ordered a sofa early just to have somewhere comfortable to relax ) I didn’t feel it was cleaned very well when we arrived but that was rectified quickly! For a long weekend it’s a good...

'Great all round clean and everything'

'Pet friendly cottage with small back garden. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bedroom with nice linens. Bathroom is fine but really needs a head height bracket for the shower head, without one water goes everywhere as you try to juggle the shower head and soaping up😀 House is on a very quiet street and has easy access to dogs walls including local pub. TV has limited channels but house Wi-Fi worked well. Given proximity to local attractions (Bosham, the Witterings, Chichester and Arundel) would...

'A very very lovely property. Everything is top notch. The pool was warm, the garden is lovely. The beds are super comfy. The location for getting to the beach is brilliant. We all loved it and will return without a doubt.'

'Wonderful quiet location - perfect for a retreat and with plenty of space.'

'This was our first holiday in this lovely house, the location to the shops, restaurants & beach was perfect. Spacious bedrooms & lovely shower in the en suite bedroom. We were there during the heatwave & it was nice having the bedrooms downstairs as they were a lot cooler than the upstairs lounge.'

'I had such a lovely and relaxing stay in this charming cottage. It has a wonderful old-fashioned character and history while still having everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and convenient, and I felt at home straight away. It was lovely to sit in the garden with my tea in the morning and a drink in the evening watching the bees and butterflies around the flowers. The location is quiet and peaceful, and only a few minutes’ walk along the esplanade to the bars,...

'We had a lovely stay and the property was very clean. Great location and would definitely recommend it.'

'A deceptively large house which has been beautifully updated. The back dining/kitchen area is lovely. Cute courtyard garden. The car park space is very small and difficult to access. Very close to town centre which was great. Easy to walk into town. Would stay again.'

'Was a warm, well equipped house. Nice view. '

'We'd thoroughly recommend this property, where you have everything you need (and more) for a week or two away from home. Very dog friendly, and just a short walk from a lovely park and onto a long, sandy beach where the dogs had a whale of a time. A good sized and secure back garden, and views over The Solent towards the mainland. We can not fault this property.'

'We really enjoyed our short stay at Steddles. The house was very comfortable and clean. The facilities were very good and perfectly matched our needs. The location in Chi was perfect and very convenient. Just a quick note: we could not get the pedestrian gate to open.'

'Good location, very clean but stairs extremely steep which would be a big problem for the elderly/young and the garden is a trip hazard and needs attention. Having stayed in other properties in Ryde we dont consider it to be value for money as needs a refurb and don’t know how a family of 4 would cope with the bedrooms !'

'We spent a week at Wickland Cottage. The location was perfect - walking distance to city centre and easy access to lots of tourist attractions and beautiful walks. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy! We made it our little home from home while we enjoyed Chichester and the surrounding area.'

'Good things: the apartment is right opposite the seafront, central to everything and has fab views. Beds are comfy. Showers powerful. Niggles that could be sorted to make this a good stay experience: the balcony areas are all quite tatty looking and there were no seat cushions, even though it said there were in the pack. The inside sofas are very small for the size of the room and have seen better days, various marks and scratches on them, furniture generally quite shabby. Kettle desperately in...

'The farmhouse is very comfortable and has everything that you need. There are many pleasant dog walks close by and there is a stoney beach, which is only 20 minutes walk away, a favourite place for our dog and us, as there is also a very nice pub there, that does excellent food . I would definitely stay here again.'

'Highly recommended beautiful house located in a lovely quiet road. The house has lots of room and is clean and bright. The house is fully equipped including indoor and outdoor games and is a great stay for families. A lovely well kept garden. The location is beautiful, clean and picturesque. Short walk to local shops and village pub. Walking distance to Bembridge beach. Local residents are friendly. We will definitely stay here again on another visit to the Island. '
